The lab is dedicated to testing newly developed products against stringent tests for industrial and explosion-proof equipment used in a wide range of industries , providing high confidence prior to 3rd party testing and certifications and accelerating time-to-market.

Conveniently located in Edinburgh, at Crover's headquarters in the National Robotarium, the lab offers a variety of tests with faster lead time than other test houses, for pre-compliance or self-certification purposes, catering to a wide range of products from simple enclosures to advanced autonomous robots designed for challenging environments.

Dust Protection
- Dust Ingress Protection Test (IP5X or IP6X)
- Based on requirements of IEC 60529 and BS EN 60529 standards
Water protection
- Water Ingress Protection Test (IPX5 or IPX6)
- Based on requirements of IEC 60529 and BS EN 60529 standards
Surface resistance test
- To comply with requirements of BS EN IEC 60079-0 and DIN IEC 60167
