Crover Ltd. (also referred to as “We”, “Us”) takes your privacy seriously and we are committed to being compliant with the higher standards of digital and data privacy worldwide. We adhere to the EU  General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as it applies in the UK, tailored by the Data Protection Act 2018. and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

Personal Information

"Personal Information" refers to any information that identifies you  (also referred as “user”)  personally, including contact information, such as your name, e-mail address, company name, address, phone number, and other information about yourself or your business. Personal Information can also include information about you that is available on the internet, such as from Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google, or information that we acquire from service providers.


Personal Information includes Navigational Information where such information can directly or indirectly identify an individual. Navigational information refers to information about your computer and your visits to the Websites such as your IP address, geographical location, browser type, referral source, length of visit and pages viewed. 


We will never sell your Personal Information to any third party. 


How we collect data

Cookies, web beacon and similar technologies

These technologies are small files placed on your computer, tablet, mobile phone, or whatever device you are browsing with (collectively, "device"), that allow us to record information when you visit or interact with our websites, applications, and other tools.


We use these to compile information about the usage of our websites (“analytics”) and interaction with emails from us.


When you visit our websites, we or an authorized third party (see “Tools and Sub-processors”) may place a cookie on your browser, which collects information, including Personal Data, about your online activities over time and across different sites. Cookies allow us to track overall usage, determine your browsing preferences and improve and customize your browsing experience.


We use web beacons on our websites and in email communications for similar purposes. For example, we may place web beacons in marketing emails that notify us when you click on a link in the email that directs you to one of our websites.


Form/s

We collect Personal Information (See “Personal Information”), consent, communication and marketing preference, Opt-in and op-out records through the use of user fillable forms. This may include contact forms, newsletter subscription, or other forms of user inputs. By registering on the mailing list or for the newsletter, the User’s email address will be added to the contact list of those who may receive email messages containing information of commercial or promotional nature concerning our product/s and services.


The platform we are currently using is “HubSpot” (see Tools).

CRM (customer relationship management)

We use a CRM platform to keep track of the interactions we have with external parties (i.e. users, organizations, prospects and leads, etc..). This enables us to keep our communication consistent and monitor and manage the consent permissions, opt-in and outs, and no-call lists.


The platform we are currently using is “HubSpot” (see Tools).

Duration

We will retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to provide our services, and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Retention periods will be determined taking into account the type of information that is collected and the purpose for which it is collected. We routinely review the data in our possession to assess and the need to destroy outdated, unused information at the earliest reasonable time. Under applicable regulations, we will keep records containing Personal Information, communication, and other information as required by applicable laws and regulations.

Why we collect data

We will retain and evaluate information on your recent visits to our website and how you move around different sections of our website for analytics purposes to understand how people use our website as well as to evaluate content and communication campaign performances so that we can make improvements to the user experience and our communications and content strategy.


We will keep a record of the pages and sections of our website that you have clicked on and use that information to tailor our communications and content strategy, base on what is relevant to the user interests, which we have identified based on pages and sections you have read and interacted with.


In addition to the uses identified elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we may use your Personal Information to:

  • send information or content to you which we think may be of interest to you by post, email, or other means and send you marketing communications relating to our business;
  • promote the use of our services to you and share promotional and information content with you following your communication preferences;
  • send information to you regarding changes to our Customer Terms of Service, Privacy Policy (including the Cookie Policy), or other legal agreements;
  • investigate and help prevent security issues and abuse, or meet legal requirements.


In any case, we will gladly help to clarify the specific legal basis that applies to the processing, and in particular whether the provision of Personal Data is a statutory or contractual requirement, or a requirement necessary to enter into a contract. (see “Grounds for Data Collection”)

Genuine Market Researches 

We may contact unsolicited parties for genuine marketing research purposes, to aid in the development and refinement of our product/s and services. This complies with the PECR directives and any personal data will be retained only for the duration of the research efforts. The analysis and results from such efforts will be almost exclusively used and kept internally and in the rare case research results (or part of them) would be shared with third parties, all of the data will be aggregated and anonymised.


During such research we will avoid by any means selling under the guise of research (“sugging”) and we will provide with the request for content and preference for further messages (including marketing ones) or the opportunity to opt-out of any additional communication.

 Grounds for data collection

Processing of your personal information (see “Personal Information") is necessary for the performance of our contractual obligations towards you and providing you with our services, to protect our legitimate interests and for compliance with legal and financial regulatory obligations to which we are subject. More information can be found in the "Why we collect data" section of this Policy.

Lawful basis

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:


  • Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting info@crover.tech
  • We have a contractual obligation.
  •  We have a legal obligation.
  • We have a legitimate interest.


Know your Data Protection Rights 

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

  • Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. 
  • Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete. 
  • Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances. 
  • Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. 
  • Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
  • Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
  • You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.

Minors

We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in an online environment. The Site is not designed for or directed at children. Under no circumstances shall we allow use of our services by minors without prior consent or authorization by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, he or she should contact us at info@crover.tech.

Updates or amendments to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to periodically amend or revise the Privacy Policy; material changes will be effective immediately upon the display of the revised Privacy policy. Your continued use of the Platform, following the notification of such amendments on our website, constitutes your acknowledgment and consent of such amendments to the Privacy Policy and your agreement to be bound by the terms of such amendments.

Should the changes affect processing activities performed on the basis of the User’s consent, we shall collect new consent from the User, where required.
