More success ahead for Crover

Crover • June 6, 2018

Crover is shortlisted as finalist in four major business competitions: Converge Challenge Kickstart, Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Awards, Inspire Launch Grow, Climate Launchpad

The finalists for 4 major business competitions have recently been announced, and Crover makes the cut in all four.

Crover will be among the top businesses to progress to the final stage of Converge Challenge's Kickstart category. Converge Challenge (https://www.convergechallenge.com/) is the largest business competition in Scotland, with a strong focus on businesses born out of world-leading research from Scottish universities. Crover and the other finalists will now access training from the competition and undertake a path which will culminate with the winner being announced on the 20th September 2018.

After being selected to represent the University of Edinburgh at the UK-wide Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Awards , Crover has just been announced to be among the top 30 businesses to progress to the regional finals to be held in late June.

Crover has been chosen to be among the finalists presenting at the annual Inspire Launch Grow awards, which celebrate the most successful businesses to come out of the University of Edinburgh.

Finally, Crover progressed to the national final of the Climate Launchpad competition, which is sponsored by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology and focuses on businesses with the potential to reduce green house gas emissions. The businesses successful at the national stage will progress to the global final, which, coincidentally, will be held in Edinburgh this year.

Overall, this is good news for Crover and a further recognition of the hard work we have been doing, as well as proof of the large impact Crover can have.
